Charles Louis Bazin (1881–1953), is one of the most noteworthy makers from the Bazin bow-making family in Mirecourt, France. The Bazin family, spanning from François Bazin to Charles Alfred Bazin, operated as a bow-making dynasty from around 1840 and well into the 20th century.

Charles Louis began his apprenticeship in the family workshop at age 12 under his father, Charles-Nicolas Bazin II. By 1907, at 26, he assumed control, focusing solely on bow making throughout his career. Characterized by pronounced curves and a robust appearance, Bazin's bows evolved to be heavier and more robust over the course of his career.

He supplied bows not only to his workshop but also to numerous Parisian firms. His only brand stamp read "Louis Bazin", although not all of his bows were stamped. Retiring in 1952, he passed the legacy to his son, Charles Alfred Bazin, who joined the workshop in 1922.

Together with his father, Charles Louis Bazin left a lasting impact that surpassed that of the other Bazin family members. Charles Louis Bazin achieved the highest standards in bow making during the 20th century, with his bows acclaimed by virtuosi of the time.

Bazin trained an entire generation of bow makers, including individuals such as Jean-Claude Ouchard, Marcel Lapierre, André Granier, Arthur Husson, Jules Bontemps, Louis Dumont, and André Jacquemin.
