Payments

If you are interested in purchasing an instrument, contact us and we will send you an invoice with more information on your chosen payment method. We offer our customers a two main ways to paying for their instrument or bow.

  1. Bank transfer. This is our preferred method and the traditional way to pay for high-value instruments online. If you don't have a Norwegian or European bank account, you can use a service like Wise, Revolut or Paypal to send the funds to our bank account.
  2. Secure Payment Link. For customers who wish to wish to pay by card, we will send you a secure payment link which will allow you to pay by the card of your choice.

Currencies

For your convenience, we display the products on our website in multiple currencies. However, we currently accept payments in the following currencies only:

  • Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
  • Euro (EUR)
  • British Pounds (GBP) 
  • United States Dollars (USD)

If your currency is not listed above and you would like to pay in your currency, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Shipping

Free International Shipping

The price of all instruments and bows includes free international shipping to the customer. If the customers wishes to return the instrument, they the cost of the return shipping must be paid by the customer.

What countries do we ship to?

We ship to most countries around the world. All orders are processed within 1-5 business days once payment has been received. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or Norwegian public holidays. Tracking information from the carrier will be sent to you, along with the expected delivery date / time, as soon as it is available. Please be patient will the instrument is underway to you and consult the tracking information regularly for updates.

Shipping Carriers

For shipments within Norway, we use the Norgespakken service from Posten. For all international shipments, we use UPS. We request you to use these services if you return an instrument or bow to us.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

For International customers, it is very important that you fully understand if you must pay any customs, duties or taxes before you complete your order. 

Meistari.no is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.  As we have customers from all over the world, we cannot help you understand what additional taxes or fees you will need to pay once the instrument has been sent. Please contact your country's customs office for more information. 

Insurance and damages

Our insurance covers any damages or losses that may occur on the way to you. If you decide to the return the instrument to us within the 14-Day Home Trial period, our insurance will also cover any damages that occur on the way back to Meistari.no.

We carefully package your instrument to prevent damage during shipping. Although rare, sometimes damages do occur. Inspect your instrument carefully once it arrives. If you find any damages, please send clear photos of the damage to info [at] meistari [dot] no. We will then provide you with return instructions. If the instrument arrives to you damaged or broken, then we will cover all return costs and provide reimbursement accordingly.

To be eligible for a refund, instruments and bows must be returned in the same condition and must be packed in the same way that it was sent to you. Read more about Returns & Refunds policy.
