Eduard Sitjas Bonet, 2024

Eduard Sitjas Bonet, 2024

Violin

Built by Eduard Sitjas Bonet in Genoa, Spain, this exquisite violin was modeled after a 1704 violin by Pietro Guarneri of Mantua. The two-piece top is made from aged Italian spruce, and the one-piece back and ribs are made from aged slab-cut Italian flamed maple. The instrument is beautifully antiqued and features an elegant varnish of warm, reddish brown. This violin already boasts a warm, round, and inviting tone which promises to evolve beautifully over time. Refined and versatile, this instrument is a good choice for solo and ensemble playing alike.
