This bow is modelled on a baroque violin bow from the 1720s in the world-famous Ashmolean Collection in Oxford, UK. Clip-in frog.

  2. Meet us in Oslo. You can meet us in person and try your instrument in the wonderful acoustics at Gamle Raadhus Scene in the heart of Oslo. You are welcome to try all of our fiddles and bows there.
  3. Video chat. We would be happy to have a video chat with you to discuss our instruments and play them side by side. Just send us a message to schedule an appointment.

About the maker

Mette Mari Hafslund Vea was born Tromsø. In 2005 she went to Parma to attend the Bottega di Parma violin making school, and in 2008 she finished her studies at the Newark school of violin making. She started working with Magnus Nedregård in Oslo in 2010, specializing in bow making, bow repair and restauration.‎
